Schnee Architects, Incorporated (SAI), founded in 1992, provides high quality professional services in architecture, interior design and consulting. Located in Newton, MA just outside of Boston, SAI is a creative, yet pragmatic, architectural and interiors firm serving a variety of clients and building types. Our focus is on institutional, corporate and hospitality work, along with a selected group of residential projects. At SAI, we pride ourselves on taking an intelligent and practical approach to design and problem-solving for our diverse group of clients. We are efficient in quickly understanding the specific needs of a project and client, and produce architecture and interiors work that builds value with creative design and smart project management. As an entrepreneurial firm, we are intense in all of our work, and provide services that are highly personalized and devoted to our clients. Our office consists of registered architects and a highly-skilled design and technical staff. We work with some of the nation's finest engineering consultants, and orchestrate professional teams that are effective and cost-efficient. All of SAI's architects and technical staff are versatile with computer-aided drafting and design (CADD), including the firm's president and founder, George William Schnee, AIA. Mr. Schnee is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and is a graduate of Wesleyan University (CT) and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Mr. Schnee holds a Certificate with the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB), which allows for reciprocal licensure in most jurisdictions. SAI is currently licensed to practice architecture in 15 states. Schnee Architects, Incorporated carries both Commercial General Liability and Professional Liability insurance.
