Chautauqua Institution, Chautauqua, NY This design proposal for Chautauqua Institution, a world-renowned religious, arts and cultural summer festival in upstate NY, includes new instrumental and voice teaching studios, new performance and rehearsal halls & music school administration facilities. Our design features pergolas and outdoor performance areas to enhance the interaction among students, faculty and audiences, and to create an identifiable music quadrangle. The new music campus is designed to complement the existing building vernacular of Chautauqua, while introducing new elements that enliven and update the architecture. |
