Zydeco Grille, Boston, MA A funky Cajun restaurant in a Boston neighborhood, Zydeco Grille is a new concept with both interior and exterior design by Schnee Architects, Inc. (SAI). A gut rehab of a dilapidated building, this upbeat restaurant features a carved gator on the new facade, a custom tile pattern of a giant alligator with lily pads, and extensive use of bold color. Interiors are lively, decorated with musical instruments and sculpted clouds, metals and dynamic lighting. The design attempts to be evocative of the hot Cajun Zydeco music which gives this restaurant its name. |
